What were we even fighting?
I thought as they lined us up to see that none of us had run off. Me and my Eldest cousin Kevin had been hand-picked to fight here. I held the necklace my mother made for me. silvery with a burgundy treble cleft. I had stuck my Coin figurines in my pockets, i just couldn't let them go. Kevin clenched my shoulder. The contacts I now had were a little hard to get used to, they blocked out sunlight and made everything look a lot darker. As the man keeping us in line counted us off by last names, I quietly screamed "Here!" when mine was called. The gun in my hands felt cold as ice as i shook violently.
"OKAY! ALL OF YOU LOW LIVES IN THE FRONT ROW! GET OVER HERE!"
Kevin dragged me to the area, this was literal because my legs clearly did NOT want to go.
"Jill, come ON! If they give you a nickname it'll be shiverlegs!"
"I'm scared"
"So am i. but you saw how proud Grandpa was, we'll come back"
"Okay"
He playfully punched me in the arm. I smiled. The guy was doing another check when a helicopter landed. anther guy came out...Was that...
America? he casually walked over and picked me up by my arm.
"There you are pipsqeak! We've been looking everywhere!"
"put me down..."
"Come on! there's a world meeting, your cousin over there can come to!"
Kevin looked at me, I nodded and dropped my gun, America dropped me and we boarded the helicopter. Kevin stared at me
"what is this about?"
"You'll need to find that out yourself. I honestly have no idea why they called the meeting"
America turned
"England called the meeting, he said he was noticing something odd about Japan when he was bombing, Germany to. The only AXIS member who seems normal right now is Italy"
"I'm not surprised, never turn your back on a Ninja and a Nazi"
"Yeah. Oh look! we're here!"
"That ride seemed to short"
"Another thing we were noticing, it normally take hours to get here by helicopter"
I noticed it wasn't the normal meeting place, It was pretty much out in the middle of NOWHERE, There was a Parking lot, And the Italian's cars took up about two spots each due to bad parking...
